Force rebuild of Backup2Go workstation backup index
Posted by Andre Kuehnemund on 18 April 2011 17:24

Question:

A computer went offline in the middle of a Backup2Go backup and I'm now seeing the following error:
"... file check/collection: /Volumes/backup2go/10013: invalid command name 'origin CBLIB c1 {File Find Error Opening File} c2 file4open s1 /Volumes/backup2go/10013/.bws/bwsindex.dbf s2 {} s3 {}';"
Any thoughts?

Answer:

It seems that the database local to the work station got corrupted. To force rebuilding it you have two possible options:

1. Start a manual backup from the workstation and hold the SHIFT key while pressing the button.
2. On the server, toggle the "force rebuild" switch in the Workstation's or templates "Expert Settings"
